1. About ABC Solution
ABC Solution (PVT) LTD, registered in Sri Lanka with its office at 43/4 Udayar Lane, Potpathy Road, Jaffna 40000 ("we", "us", "the Platform"), is a broker that connects owners of vehicles, equipment, and skilled labour ("Providers") with customers seeking to rent or hire them ("Customers") in Sri Lanka. ABC Solution does not own the vehicles, items, or workforce listed on the Platform; it facilitates the transactions, verifies identity, holds booking funds in escrow, and mediates disputes.
2. Account registration & KYC
To book a rental, create a listing, or earn as an affiliate, you must register an account and complete identity verification (KYC) by submitting your National Identity Card (NIC) and, for Providers, driving licence and bank details. We review submissions within 24 hours. We reserve the right to reject or revoke KYC at our discretion if information is incomplete, fraudulent, or not verifiable.
3. Listings
Providers may publish listings describing their vehicle, item, or service, including price and availability. All listings are subject to moderation and may be rejected if photos are unclear, documents are invalid, or pricing is unreasonable. Providers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings.
4. Bookings, payments & commission
Customers pay the full rental amount plus a refundable deposit to ABC Solution's bank account. ABC Solution retains 15% of the rental amount as commission (and up to 10% of the rental may be paid to an affiliate who referred the booking); the remaining share is paid to the Provider after successful return of the item. The deposit is held by ABC Solution and refunded to the Customer once the return handover is complete and no dispute is raised.
5. Handover & video documentation
Both parties must record a short video and photos of the condition of the item at pickup and at return, uploaded via the Platform. These recordings are the primary evidence in any dispute. If either party refuses to document the condition, they waive the right to claim damage or counter a claim.
6. Cancellations
A Customer may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the start date for a full refund minus a processing fee. Later cancellations may forfeit part or all of the rental amount at ABC Solution's discretion. Providers cancelling a confirmed booking without cause may be suspended and the Customer fully refunded.
7. Disputes & deposit deductions
Either party may raise a dispute during or after the rental period. ABC Solution's customer care team will review the pickup and return evidence and decide the outcome. Permitted outcomes include: full refund of deposit to Customer, partial deduction (damage repair cost subtracted from deposit), or full forfeit of the deposit to the Provider. Our decision is final.
8. Privacy of contact information
Direct phone numbers and email addresses of Customers and Providers are never exchanged. All communications must pass through ABC Solution's customer care channel. Circumventing this provision, to avoid commission or for any other reason, may result in permanent suspension.
9. Prohibited conduct
- Listing stolen, unregistered, or uninsured vehicles.
- Providing false identity documents.
- Using the Platform to perform illegal activity.
- Attempting to complete transactions off-platform after being matched via ABC Solution.
- Abusive behaviour toward other users or ABC staff.
10. Liability
ABC Solution is a broker and not responsible for the safety, roadworthiness, or performance of any vehicle, item, or worker listed. Providers must maintain valid insurance on their vehicles. ABC Solution is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from the rental or hire, beyond the deposit held in escrow for that specific booking.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after that period constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through the Platform's dispute process will be submitted to the courts of Colombo.
